Who are we?

Shown is an easy-to-use, intelligent advertising platform that fully automates the creation and management of online ad campaigns. The startup was founded by former Google employees, Software Developers and Data Scientists. We work directly with the offices of Google in Brussels to develop an impactful tool and help SMB’s around the world grow through cost-effective online marketing solutions.

What are we looking for ?

Our Perfect Hire:

• Self-motivated and energetic person with a start-up mentality
• Loves working and building new things
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Works well flying solo or running in a pack
• Has the drive and motivation to learn, lead and contribute at a high level
• Has a good knowledge of French & English
• Has a Master degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent through a combination of training and experience

What You’ll Do:

• React/JavaScript and related technology development
• Come up with ideas on how to improve speed, scalability and finding new ways to track how visitors are using our solutions
• Work, learn and lead in a remote cross-functional agile team
• Actively participate in design and architecture decisions

Desired Experience:

• Professional coding experience in JS, preferably React
• Relational database systems like MySQL
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP
• Writing API’s
• Managing large datasets
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks
• Using queues, notifications, events, sending mail, and other advanced web application features
